Valuing Stress Health

It's How We Manage It That Counts

Have you ever had thoughts play over and over in your mind, stressing you out?

Consider this:

Our Brain is the Central computer of our body pre-programmed to facilitate many automatic functions such as breathing and heartbeat etc. However our Subconscious controls all the self-talk -  good or bad that we put into it. Settling as a recording for future behaviour, which the brain takes up to facilitate.

Besides all the basics of just staying alive, we have to contend with life challenges we must face from time to time; and in the current space of electronic friendships; which are great but can also be very superfluous. It can leave us feeling somewhat unsupported, feeling we have to carry such burdens alone.

Take financial concerns; these can apply pressure to a person’s state of mind. And it is becoming very clear that the world is changing forever and we must also. An interesting fact here regarding safety of income. According to FORBES magazine - 79 million people in the USA alone will open a home-based business in the next 5 years? Evidence people want more control over their income source and workplace options.

It's worthy of note that there are two kinds of stress that impact our brain.

1. Helpful Stress; it can assist us with getting things done by supporting our capacity to stay attentive.

2. Unhelpful stress (distress), which on the other hand, does just the opposite; leading to fatigue and stress related illness.

Some advice here; Don’t ignore stress symptoms of anxiety, depression, or excessive worry and especially bouts of anger likely to overwhelm your life. Currently anger and violence are of major concern in our stress-filled wold economic situation, making it even more important to protect our mental wellbeing. And in line with these fact here are some very effective tips to stabilize or boost your mental health:

  • Consider a Mental Fast for 30 days by refusing to watch, listen to, or read any unpleasant news articles!
  • Make social connections — especially face-to-face, a priority.
  • Learn How To Be Decisive, about what is good for you and your Family; be it financial plans or limiting mobile phone usage at mealtimes.

I have a great process for developing better decision making skills. Dont hesitate to enquire.

  • Stay active. Make time for activities, such as exercising or something as simple as a walk after or before work... It does not have to be a power walk.
  • Talk to someone. Not simply to complain or to vent, but also to lighten the load with pleasant conversation. An easy way is an accompanied walk with a chat. There are a myriad of dog walkers out there who welcome a passing word! Even a friendly comment or conversation in the supermarket check-out line can be uplifting.
  • Appeal to your senses; being more aware of any pleasant surroundings, including taste, smell etc., effectively making leisure and contemplation a priority, with such things as practicing relaxation techniques or meditation and yoga.
  • Consider a brain-healthy diet such as our Healthy Diet Plan to support strong mental health; lean proteins also lends energy that allows your body to think and react quickly. Good sources of protein include chicken, meat, fish, eggs, soybeans, nuts, and seeds. Fatty acids — are crucial for the proper function of your brain and nervous system. You can find them in fish, meat, eggs, nuts, and flaxseeds.
  • Don't skimp on sleep. Sleep is where your whole-body, including your brain regenerates itself. Contact me for further details on the sleep formula support we use.
  • Consider a Stress Supplement. We take ( Modere STRESS HEALTH ) https://modere.io/S3mIoy . Its A blend that includes Lactium, St John’s Wort, Vitamins B6, B12 and Folic Acid. All great for supporting our nerves and aiding relaxation.
